You may have noticed that my Beauty Blog is lacking in posts. Well, I have fabulous news!

My new website Odeliza, features all my most recent hauls, beauty channel videos, insider tips, favorite products, and most importantly, my professional photography portfolio.

I really strive to share with you, my loyal readers and subscribers the best that I have to offer. Granted, I may be a bit of a rookie when it comes to all the goings on about websites, blogs, twitters, youtubes, etc. but I try. Hopefully all my hard works comes out nice ;P

Midnight in Bali

Oi Amigas!

Midnight in Bali was inspired by my trips to South East Asia. I love the tropical islands and if able would live near the beach in a slightly dilapidated beach house, basking in the sun, feasting on fresh tropical fruits, and surfing my little heart out.

But, hopefully we all know it's just for the movies and beach houses costs loads of dinero. ;)

Bom, let's begin.

For the Face

1. Always start off with a super clean face. Once you've cleansed your face, apply your skin primer and eye primer. Allow the products to seep into your skin. A few seconds will do. I like to count to 5 ;P

2. With your favorite cover-up brush, apply a small amount on top of your hand. Dab your brush onto the cover-up then apply with light strokes on to your face. I like to start on my chin and apply outwards in. Once complete, allow the product to set in. Just a few seconds will do.

3. Apply a concealer if necessary. I like to use the warmth of my finger tips when applying any concealer brand onto my under eyes as well as any acne scars or discolorations. The key is to apply the concealer very lightly onto the desired areas.

4. Once you've applied your concealer take your finishing powder. I use two brands of finishing powder. One from MAC and the other from Bare essentials. First I apply the MAC finishing powder with my Royal & Langnickel Silk Angled Kabuki Brush. I apply it with buffing circular movements working outwards in. Then take the same Kabuki Brush and sweep from the inside out the Bare essentials finishing powder.

5. Finally I applied NARS bronzer. Using my Royal & Langnickel powder brush, I sweep the brush on the color several times. I don't 'tap off' any access. I really don't use a mirror for this application.

Then with light circular movements, begin on you forehead moving your brush with light circular applications towards your cheek bone, and chin. Sorta a backwards E shape.

6. Then I applied MAC Back to the Beach blush with my Royal & Langnickel finishing brush onto my cheek bones.

For the Eyes

1. First start with the lightest shade. Using a flat angled eye-shadow brush apply the lightest shade of orange through out your entire eyelids as well as eyebrow bone.

2. With the same eye-shadow brush apply the second shade which is a very light pink onto your lower eyelids all the way into the inner corners of your eyes.

3. Then, using a blending brush, apply the second darkest shade of orange onto the outer corner of your eyes.

4. Finally, with the same blending brush, take an iridescent brown color and very lightly blend the color onto the inner half corner of your eye towards the center crease.

5. Apply your favorite mascara.

For the Lips

1. First apply your favorite lip conditioner, allow to set in for a few seconds.

2. Then take your lip brush and MAC's Back to the Beach lipstick in Thrill and swipe the lip brush onto the lipstick and then apply on your lips. Starting with the edges working your way towards the center of the lips.

JLO Inspired Look

Hiya Dolls!

Here is my Jlo inspired look that my YouTube friend suggest I do. I've received wonderful responses as well as suggestions for my Beauty Channel and am excited to implement for the up coming videos.

For those of you that supported my channel by subscribing and continue to watch my videos, I truly am happy and grateful.

If you are new to my Beauty Blog and Beauty Channel, thanks for stopping by and hope to see you again.

Here is the JLO Inspired Look in more detail.

Steps:

1-Apply your current cover-up and concealer. (I used Studio Fix in N35 and Coastal Scents Camo Quad in Medium for the concealer)

2- Apply your base color. (I used Mac cream base color)

3- Take your flat eye-shade brush and using a light blue eye shadow apply onto your eyelids sans eye brow bone. (Here is used Mac in Tilt.)

4-Using the same flay eye-shade brush apply a very light iridescent ice blue to your lids as well as inner and outer corners of your eyes. (I used Nars in Elsa)

5-Take your bronzer brush or any large round brush apply a bronzer that matches your skin shade. (I used Bare Essentials in Warm)

6. Take any black mascara and apply to your upper and lower lashes. Ensuring that you coat your lashes with several applications. (I used Rimmel Sexy Curves in Extreme Black)

7. Take any nude lipstick that matches with your lip tone and using a lip brush warm a bit of the color onto your top hand and then apply to your lips. (I used Mac Viva Glam II and Mac lip brush 269)

Optional

8. Take your favorite false lashes and apply. (I bought these at Sally's Beauty Supply, individual lashes that are black. I forgot the label name. Sorry ;P)

Pink & Greys Smokey Eye

Hope you find this make up tutorial fun and maybe useful. Thanks so much for your support and comments. I read all of them and try to respond accordingly. I'm still new at everything. I mean, if you watched my first What's in my Purse you'll see what I'm talking about.

Let's begin...
For the 1st colour I used left side down one. Swipe through out entire eyelid and eye brow bone. Using light sweeps and then re-apply the colour with a tapping motion on your eye brow bone, inner eye lid and underneath your eye, close to your water duct.

2nd colour with an angle brush, left side second to last one down. A light silver/grey colour apply on your outer corner eyelids as well as inner corner eyelids. Reapply and tap off the access and with a bit of a sweeping motion apply on under eye line.

3rd colour with a fine crease brush, farthest right side down three. A shimmer colour that is a bit greyish. Apply on the outer corners of eyelids as well as crease. This gives your eye a bit shimmer. Apply on the under eye line.

4th colour take a thicker blending brush. Second row on the left second to last one down. A bit darker grey colour. Apply gently on your outer corner of eye lids and your lower eye line.

5th colour. Dab your brush in cold water then dab onto colour. From the center, pink shades row 5 from the right down one. This is a shimmer pink. Dab wet brush onto colour and quickly apply on the center eye lids.

6th colour using a blending brush. From the right down 3. Apply gently towards your outer corner.

Take any black eyeliner. Apply in your upper and lower water lines.

7th colour, using your angle brush. From the left row 3.Down to the bottom. This is a strong black. Apply on your upper and lower eyelash line.

Curl lashes. You could apply mascara and or false lashes. I just curled my lashes in this video.

Take a sponge brush, using the 1st colour apply lightly on your eyebrow bone and inner corners of your eyes.

Apply your pink blush with a finishing brush or blush brush, or your ring finger just on the top apples of your cheek.

Take your pink/neutral lipstick and a lip brush. Apply a bit on top of your hand warm to desired texture and colour and apply on your lips!

Orange Sherbert Make up Tutorial

Orange Sherbert Make up is wearable during the day and a fabulous Spring & Summer Look. Bom Amigas, I hope you find my videos amusing and useful. Really love to hear your thoughts and comments. Remember...I'm always here and listening.

Royal & Langnickel Brush
I used Eye Shader BE04 , Eye Shader BE06, and Finishing Fan in BE05.

A good set of make up brushes does make the world of a difference!

I'd know, it's been about 6 years since I've had a new brush set.

Mainly because I've done so much traveling around the world (Come visit Odeliza Life of a US Expat in South America) and I fell under the shopping guidance of what ever was available to me and continued to use my old brush set of MAC, Smashbox, Sephora, and Victoria Secrets brushes. Really... I stand by Royal & Langnickel as a make up artist by hobby and trade the quality of this set is FABULOUS mi ninas!

BH Cosmetics Neutral Eyeshadow Palette

Let's start with the colors I used starting for the base and end colors:

First color from the left down four/ right four. The color is a light peach.

Swipe this color all through out your entire eye lids including your eye brow bone. Remember use a light touch.

Second color from the left down six/ right four.
The color is medium peach. Swipe this color only on your eyelids with a sort of light sweeping motion.

Third color from the left down seven/ right four. This color is a darker peach. Let's use this on our outer corners of the eyelids. With a very light wind shield wiper movement start from the corner and work your way towards the center. Remember a little goes a long way. This is a day look after all and we want to look vibrant and elegant.
BH Cosmetics 88 Colors Palette Shimmer Eyeshadow

Highlight and last color from the left down seven/right one. This color is a light to medium shimmer peach with pink and gold speckles.

Take your Crown Brush synthetic blending brush and apply on the inner corners of your eyelids to give your eye a more refreshed look.

Apply just a little on your eyebrow bone and under your eyes, this effect points to your eyes as the focal point.

For the rest of my face I used Jane Cosmetics BlusStix in Shimmering Peach. Rimmel Sexy Curves Mascara in Extreme Black, Wet & Wild eyeliner in White, Prestige Eye Khol in Chamomile, Jane Cosmetics Lip stick in Caymen, Shu Uemora eyelash curler, and China Glaze for my nails.

Royal Brush

Oi Amigas,

The beauty convention in Las Vegas, Nevada was filled was so much cosmetic and beauty products are girl could only take so much!

I wanted to see every booth, but my shoes weren't made for walking...Ah, next time I'll have gel inserts for my high heels. Have to be sexy all the time.

Pues, amigas I hope you find my videos useful and fun it takes a lot of hard work on my part to produce even these quick video clips on my YouTube Channel. I didn't realize it took so much work to design, edit, and upload. Especially for me, I haven't had a new laptop in about 6 years.

Traveling and living from one country to the next is really exciting and educational, but the cost of electronics are superly overpriced so I had to wait to return to the US.

Even if I'm just in the US on a temporary basis, doesn't mean I can't take advantage of all the consumption opportunities :P

Nail polish is meant to be fun! Nude, Exotic, Bright, you name it, but how often do you change your nail polish, or how often do you try to coordinate your nail polish with your clothes?

I do, quite often, so that is why I purchase cheap nail polish. Before I'd buy pricey designer nail polish and then I realized that I was spending way too much money.
